What are your rental options?
We offer Self-Serve, MeetUp, and Group rentals of our Kayaks and Canoes.
For Self-Serve rentals, you can rent the same day or reserve in advance of your visit. All the equipment is located at the rental station (select locations only).
For MeetUp rentals & Group rentals, we meet you at the location of your choosing with all the equipment you will need and then pick everything up at the conclusion of your adventure.
Where are your MeetUp rental locations?
We can meet you at many lakes in and around Washington County, WI. Please view our Adventure Locations for more information. For additional locations, please contact us.
Do you go on any Rivers or Lake Michigan?
We do not do portions of the river that would require a pickup at the end or anything on Lake Michigan. Our partner, Silent Wake LLC, is a great option to check out for River or Lake Michigan Adventures! They offer guided rental services, with high-quality equipment, throughout our area.
What are the weight limits?
Single kayaks - 250lbs to 325lbs (most are 250lbs)
Tandem Kayaks - 550lbs
Canoes - 600-800 lbs
What ages do you allow?
Children ages 4 to 8 are allowed to accompany an adult on our tandem kayaks and canoes. Children ages 9 to 17 are allowed to operate our single kayaks, as long as an adult will accompany them at all times while on the water. Person booking rental must be 18 or older.
Do you allow pets?
We do allow pets as long as they are well-behaved around others, used to being on the water, and that the weight limit is not exceeded for the item you are renting. Smaller dogs are okay on The single kayaks (preferably sit-on-top). For larger dogs, a canoe is the best option.
What size groups can you accommodate?
We can accommodate groups of up to 30 people with a combination of our kayaks and canoes.
Who is allowed to use the items rented?
We charge per item you rent, so others in your party must sign a waiver to use the item. If under 18, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times while on the water.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, we offer gift cards in any amount.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash (exact change) & credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, & American Express).
What equipment do you provide?
With all rentals, we provide PFDs, paddles, dry storage box, lake map, and lock(s) to secure items when not in use.
We also have the following items available as needed: seat cushions, anchors, paddle leashes, fishing net, & fishing poles (additional cost), and tie-down straps for PickUp rentals.
What if people in my group have their own kayaks?
For groups under 10 people, there is no additional cost for those that have their own equipment. We will need a waiver signed by them only if they want to use the rented items. For groups over 10, we require signed waivers and charge per person to cover the costs of waivers, insurance, and any equipment we provide. Please contact us for more information.
What if there is bad weather on the day of my rental?
We do launch in light rain, but if there is any bad weather (thunder or lightning) in the area, we will give you the option to reschedule, receive a full refund, or choose another location.
